In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also brings the game's third complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
